Brent became the Managing Director of Orchard Group in 2004.  In his current role, he recruits, equips, resources and serves church planters in New York and the Northeast.  He also speaks regularly in churches across the country and teaches college and seminary classes in church planting and urban ministry.

B.FoulkeBrent Foulke, Recruitment

Brent Foulke has been involved in church planting since 1991 when he and his wife Kay accepted the call of the Empire State Evangelizing Association to plant a new church near Albany, NY. In the fall of 1992, along with their 4 children and a staff of 3, Brent and Kay launched Christ's Church of the Capital District. In 2006 Brent resigned as Lead Pastor of this healthy congregation to begin full time work in church planting.

Concurrently, Brent has served as director, consultant, coach, and organizational executive for several church planting organizations. In his role as Vice-President of Field Operations for Orchard Group from 2001 through 2007, Brent developed 6 Regional Directors for Orchard and in 2006 took part in the 30th church plant with which he has had direct involvement.

Brent serves as a Director of the Church Planting Assessment Center, a preferred  service provider for Orchard Group. CPAC has provided assessment for hundreds of church planting candidate couples and their sponsors for church planting projects around the world. In 2007 Brent became the Director for the National New Church Conference and Director of Special Services for Stadia East, a sister organization for Orchard. This transition morphed his role with Orchard to that of a consultant for recruitment, where Brent's relationships will be leveraged to fill the aggressive vision Orchard has for planting many new churches in the next 5 years.
