Arundel Mills Project
A church is born! Mosaic Christian Church launched on September 14, 2008. The church is located in Arundel Mills, a suburban area south of Baltimore. The church meets at Muvico Theatre in Hanover, Maryland and is averaging 90 people each week. Already the church is looking for ways to reach out to the community with monthly service events scheduled to begin October 25 with a rehab of a local shelter. Growth groups launched the week of October 5. Carl Kuhl is the lead pastor of this new church. One of the biggest thrills so far is how many new people are coming each week.
The vision for Mosaic is to create "3-C Christ followers" - people who celebrate Jesus weekly, connect to others openly, and contribute to the lives of others with their resources. Just as an artist takes broken pieces of glass and forms them into a beautiful mosaic, Mosaic Christian Church will take people's lives and put them together to form a mosaic that is God's church. If the early weeks of this congregation are any indication, their vision looks to become a reality.
