Arundel Mills Project

Carl and Lindsay KuhlA new church is being planted in the rapidly growing suburbs of Maryland.

The Fall of 2008 will bring the beginning of Mosaic Christian Church in Arundel Mills, a suburban area south of Baltimore.

The lead pastor for the new church will be Carl Kuhl.  Carl is a 2002 graduate of Cincinnati Bible College. Immediately after college Carl served for four years as Creative Arts Minister at Forefront Church in Virginia Beach, VA.

Carl's primary duties were to oversee production of Sunday morning services and lead small groups.  He also preached on occasion.  Forefront was a fairly new church at the time, and Carl learned much about "porta-church" and working with those who have been newly introduced to Christ.

Carl will be relocating from Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY, where as the Resident Church Planter he is working for a year with Kyle Idleman from the Southeast staff.

The vision for Mosaic is to create "3-C Christ followers" - people who celebrate Jesus weekly, connect to others openly, and contribute to the lives of others with their resources.  Just as an artist takes broken pieces of glass and forms them into a beautiful mosaic, Mosaic Christian Church will take people's lives and put them together to form a mosaic that is God's church.

Orchard Group will provide oversight to this new congregation until an internal leadership team has been developed and put into place.
