Forefront Christian Church
After several years of searching for the right lead planter for a new church in Manhattan, God brought Brian and Allison Moll to us. Considering their heart for the city and their great ministry experience and potential, we knew God had answered our prayers. He continues to do so.
Stadia Southeast and New Thing Network agreed to partner with us as sponsors of the project. Several churches committed their generous support. A talented team took shape. God was finally bringing this dream to life.
On Sunday, September 18th, 2005, Forefront Christian Church was born!
The atmosphere was electric. Friendly faces greeted people on the street and directed them into the Performing Arts Theater at Baruch College on the corner of 25th Street and Lexington Avenue on the East Side of Manhattan. The band honored God with a highly-energized set of songs - even though they'd barely played together before. Brian shared a thoughtful, biblical and relevant message about the journey of faith. Strangers mixed and mingled before, during and after the service. Over 100 people worshiped together each week during the first few weeks of the church!
At one year of age, the church is having a strong impact on Manhattan, with attendance well over 200. Brian and his staff are turning a crowd into a church, with tremendous results
